Aegis Environmental, Inc. was recently honored with two awards from Marathon Petroleum Company, LLC Environmental Technical Services (ETS) Group Core Consultant Program for services in 2006. The awards include “Highest Percentage of NFA’s” and “Best Overall Consultant”.
The “Highest Percentage of NFA’s” award is given to the consultant who can achieve the most No Further Action (NFA) status for their projects. The No Further Action status is assigned to a property by the State and indicates that the appropriate measures have been taken to limit environmental impact and no additional work is required.
The “Best Overall Consultant” award is given based on several different criteria including the technological approach to clean up a site, the responsiveness of the consultant to client needs, the relationship with state agencies, the ability to meet deadlines, the quality of reports, the ability to deal with problems and setbacks, and the ability to manage costs and stay within budget.
Aegis also received the “Highest Percentage of NFA’s” and “Best Overall Consultant” awards in 2005 and 2006. No awards were given by Marathon in 2007 or 2008. However, Aegis maintained the highest overall ranking of the Core Consultant Program.
