Senior Geologist/Engineer
Aegis is seeking an Environmental Engineer or Geologist for our Greenwood, Indiana office. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in the environmental science/engineering field with extensive experience in report writing and a strong technical background. Excellent organization, planning, time management and follow-up skills are also required. Additionally, the skill set should also include excellent verbal and written communication skills, basic computer experience including Microsoft WORD and EXCEL, as well as the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. Bachelor's degree or higher in an environmental field is required. PE or LPG license is a plus. This position will include conducting site investigations, development of remedial action plans, environmental regulatory compliance assessments, program development and overall project management. The candidate must have a working knowledge of the relevant Indiana laws and regulations to be able to assist clients with regulatory compliance.
Marketing/Sales Professional
We are seeking a highly-motivated, goal oriented, and well organized sales professional. The chosen candidate must be a team player, with the ability to consistently meet or exceed sales goals, and require limited supervision. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience in professional sales (preferably technical sales) and a successful track record in commissioned sales. Responsibilities will include development of marketing program, identify & pursue prospective clients, and build strong relationships with new and existing clients.
Skills:
- Strong telephone / prospecting skills
- Ability to set appointments with high level executives
- Ability to systematically qualify prospects and close business
- Excellent listening, verbal, and presentations skills
Expectations:
- Make a minimum of twenty prospecting calls per day
- Average 8-10 sales meetings per week
- Consistently close new business
