Asbestos Inspector
Aegis Environmental is an environmental consulting firm based in Greenwood, Indiana, with a branch office in Michigan City, Indiana. We seek a motivated and dedicated team member to fill the Environmental Project Manager/Asbestos Inspector position in our Greenwood office. To be considered for the job, the candidate must have three years of experience as an asbestos inspector. Holding an industrial hygienist license is desirable. Typical projects involve asbestos inspections, indoor air quality assessments (asbestos, lead, mold, radon, etc.), and abatement oversight. Experience in Phase I and Phase II environmental site investigations is a plus. The position requires in-office and outdoor work; some activities may be strenuous, while all are interesting.
Typical responsibilities will include:
- Design and execution of projects
- Preparation of proposals
- Field sampling and data collection
- Independent technical analysis of data
- Preparation of technical reports and other documents
- Client communication
- Assist with business development
- Subcontractor oversight and management
